The Elder & Widow Empowerment Workshops
December 26, 2026 - December 27, 2026
At Gentle Guardian Kings Foundation, we recognize the unique struggles faced by widows and the elderly in our communities. Many are left without financial security, social support, or the skills needed to sustain themselves. To address this, we launched the Elder & Widow Empowerment Workshops—a safe and supportive platform where knowledge, skills, and encouragement come together to restore dignity and independence.
Through these workshops, participants receive:
- Skills Training: Practical lessons in areas such as small-scale business, crafts, and agriculture, equipping them with income-generating abilities.
- Financial Literacy: Guidance on savings, micro-finance, and managing small businesses to foster long-term sustainability.
- Emotional Support: Group sessions that provide counseling, peer support, and opportunities to share experiences in a safe environment.
- Community Connection: Building networks that help break isolation and promote collective strength.
These workshops are more than just training—they are a pathway to renewed hope and resilience. By empowering widows and elders, we not only improve their quality of life but also strengthen families and communities as a whole.
