Restoring Hope with Compassion and Care
In many communities across Eastern Nigeria—especially in Ubakala village—poverty is not just a statistic. It is a daily struggle for food, clean water, shelter, and dignity. At Project Love In Action, we are committed to stepping into those struggles with compassion, meeting urgent needs, and walking alongside families toward stability and hope.
Our Mission
To alleviate the harsh effects of poverty by providing emergency assistance, material support, and long-term help for vulnerable individuals and families—especially widows, orphans, the elderly, and those living in extreme hardship.
What We Provide
🥖 Food Distribution
We supply nutritious food items and essential groceries to families facing food insecurity. This includes:
-
Rice, beans, garri (cassava), oil, and other local staples
-
Special food packs for children and the elderly
-
Emergency rations during medical outreaches and seasonal crises
Goal: No family should go to bed hungry or wonder where their next meal will come from.
👚 Clothing & Basic Needs
We collect and distribute:
-
Gently used and new clothing for adults and children
-
Footwear, blankets, and bedding
-
Personal hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, menstrual supplies)
Goal: Restore dignity through proper clothing, comfort, and self-care essentials.
🏠 Shelter Assistance
While we cannot solve the housing crisis alone, we support:
-
Temporary housing for displaced families
-
Repairs for homes damaged by weather or neglect
-
Construction of simple, safe shelters in extreme cases
Goal: Offer safety, protection, and warmth to those most at risk.
❤️ Special Care for Vulnerable Groups
We provide tailored relief for:
-
Widows who have no source of income or family support
-
Orphans and fatherless children, often forgotten or neglected
-
Elderly citizens living alone or without resources
Goal: Ensure no one is left behind in society’s margins.
🛠️ Sustainable Relief Pathways
While immediate help is vital, we also work to:
-
Connect individuals to educational opportunities or vocational training
-
Launch small business support initiatives for families ready to rebuild
-
Partner with community leaders for long-term impact
Goal: Move families from survival to self-sufficiency.
Why It Matters
-
Over 40% of Nigerians live below the poverty line
-
Children growing up in poverty are more likely to suffer from poor health and drop out of school
-
One act of kindness—a meal, a blanket, a caring word—can change someone’s entire outlook
